Rustic revival

We loved this project. Using natural materials like york stone whilst taking our time to create the correct pattern with irregular slabs.

Ground preparation for the york stone slabs, we kept the existing stone and worked around it.

The cabin base was excavated and a curved retaining wall installed to help it merge with its surroundings.

The final result preserved the clean lines of the house while introducing a rustic character that echoes the rugged terrain rarely seen on the Cheshire Plain.
